Who We Are
Our staff possess the comprehensive skill set and hands-on understanding necessary to affect positive and overreaching outcomes in people with disabilities. The company has been approved to provide Personal Supports, Respite (Under 21) and Life Skills Development I, Residential Habilitation and Therapy by APD. In addition, all staff has received formal training and certifications in CPR, First Aid, Professional Crisis Management and Medication Administration. The staff also possess a caring and sensitive personality, as well as a genuine interest in helping others to become more independent. We are comfortable working one-on-one with people of all ages and varying levels of ability, while applying varied life experience and a non-judgmental approach to identifying and analyzing training needs of the individuals we support.
Mission
Genesis Home Care and Mental Health Services is committed to enhancing the quality of life for children, adults and their families who are experiencing mental health problems, social maladjustments and other at risk behaviors, while improving the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We will work to advance the dignity of individuals with disabilities by enabling the individual to be as independent as possible. We will do this through the provision of supports and services including Supported Living Coaching, Supported Employment Coaching, Adult day training, In-home Support, Companion, Personal Care, Respite and Residential Habilitation, while complying with all regulations.
We will also provide the opportunity for choice through education of activities for daily life in the community. We will stay involved in the community, advocate for our consumers and encourage self-advocacy.

We strive to enrich the lives of families living with disabilities while serving as a sustainable recognized resource and progressive leader in community integration. Genesis Home Care and Mental Health Services will provide and support persons with physical and/or developmental disabilities services necessary to assist the person to live the life he or she wants; and achieve their personal goals and lead a productive life. We will provide individualized successful services to persons in a home setting within their community.
Genesis Home Care and Mental Health Services continually advocates on behalf of our clients with disabilities by attending parent teacher conferences, attending manifestation and expulsion hearing, conducting informational hearings, researching current topics and serving as a resource to include individual families, friends, neighbors, and the community at large. Above all, we are committed to the pursuit of excellence. We pledge to maintain the highest level of excellence, professionalism, and sensitivity in all that we do.
